Virgin phone socket wiring diagram. Can anyone tell me where the wires go and what colours go where. For much more detail then please watch my longer 22 minute. Hi i have recently switched to vm and the virgin telephone line is connected to a bt nte5c master socket. Bluewhite and white blue. I had a look in my master socket just incase its the wiring my end and i have 4 wires in there there is 2 orange and white and 2 blue and white i have the orange and white wires on the a and b terminals. The introduction of the nte5 meant only bts wires are fitted into the back of the socket with a test phone socket on the front and any extensions are wired into a separate removable front platesocket this can be removed should there be an issue with the extension wiring or to eliminate this from the investigation.
