Split the incoming hot wire into a y and connect it to a terminal on each switch. There appear to be two white assume neutral wires screwed together with a wire nut and a ground wire tucked away inside the junction box.

A three way switch is different. They are connected together by one using the backstab connector and the other the screw. I have two outlets that dont work. There are two black wires attached to one brass screw and a red wire attached to the other brass screw. The red wire is probably the load its also possible the red is the line and you have two loads controlled by the switch. Now im at a point where beyond just color matching the normal redwhiteblack since in this case i have two blacks and one red im not sure what causing this.

This is a typical wiring setup for a 3 way light switch with black white red and ground wires.
